Frequently asked questions

How much are therapy sessions?

Sessions are between £57-60 per session. 

Sessions are to be paid when you book your session online – this means that you can just turn up for the session and use the full time as you wish, not have to worry about payment. 

Sessions are available to book up to two days ahead of a session time.

How many sessions do I need to have?

Every person needs something different, for some 6-10 sessions might be perfectly fine, for others it may be more or for a longer period of time. I offer The Steady Way which is basically a block booking of 5 sessions at a time. Find out more about that on the therapy page.

I have no limit on the sessions you can have, but do make sure to have “check ins” every now and again during sessions, to see how things are going. 

How often do I have to have sessions?

It is common to have sessions every week, and that is usually the most effective way of working.

However, we all need different things. I try to be as accommodating as I can, which is why I have the Casual Way and Steady Way of working for therapy. 

When are you available for sessions?

At present my availability varies across Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and I have both daytime and evening slots available. I do have an online booking system in place which is linked to my calendar and availability, so you would be able to book yourself in on the calendar at times which are more suited to you.

What happens if I need to cancel a session?

Should you need to cancel or reschedule a session, you can do so by clicking the “Cancel/Reschedule” buttons on your confirmation emails.

If cancellation is made by you less than 48 hours before the session is due to take place, the payment will be kept as cancellation fee. Should I need to cancel or reschedule the session I will contact you to notify as soon as possible. If I cancel 48 hours before the session, it is your choice whether you would like the session fee to be refunded to you or retained for the next session.

How do I know if I need help with my anger?

There is no “checklist” for needing help with anger. However you might notice things like; lashing out at people closest to you, a shorter temper or feeling more overwhelmed. You can find out more about anger on my blog.
