I'm Holly...

10 years ago, I would have told you that I’m not an angry person.

Now, I proudly proclaim to be always angry.

Anger has given me the ability to find;

– Where I’ve been hurt
– What I need from others & myself
– What I can do to get what I need
– How to navigate when I’m not able to get my needs met

Getting comfortable with being angry, getting to know what my anger is telling me, helps me to be more assertive now. I’m not perfect! I still struggle at times to be assertive and communicate my anger in better ways. But I am human – just like you. Staying ashamed and guilty and trying to regain control, isn’t helpful and just keeps us stuck. Anger flows through me, and supports me when I need it most – I’d like something like this for you too…

I am a neurodivergent, disabled, white cisgender woman. While I have my own lived experiences, they are not the same as yours and I do continuous work on expanding my understanding of other’s unique experiences.

I’ve worked with anger for my whole career and continue to be passionate about it. I’ve also begun to move into working with cyclical (menstrual cycle) awareness. If you want to know more about this, visit the therapy page and my blog.

I have utter adoration for my cat Kronk, who teaches me daily about boundaries. (If you ever work with me online, he will usually make an appearance!)

Working as ethically and safely as I can, means that in addition to being fully qualified and over 14 years of study and learning, I am also insured and very regularly (and enthusiastically!) engage with supervision.
